The British Championships in Nottingham was held on one of the windiest weekends of the year. The tail end of Hurricane Gonzalo created some very difficult conditions on both days.
On Saturday 18 October Annabel Headley and Emily Walters competed in W2x and came 39th in the time trial, this placed them in the G/H semi final where they came 2nd. They then finished 3rd in the G final.
On Sunday Annabel and Emily were joined by Beks Edgar and Caris Marsh to compete in w4x. On Sunday the conditions worsened and racing stopped after the time trials. The crew were drawn to race in the first position of the D final had it gone ahead.
A good weekend in very difficult conditions – well done girls!
