Multiple medals at Masters Championships

On Sunday 20th May the Masters Women's squad went up to a rather cool and windy Nottingham to compete in the British Rowing Masters Championships, and returned with a veritable haul of medals! Kat Rolfsman, Anna Ramsden, Gabriella Tose and Laura Campbell won silver in WMasC IM3 4x, in a straight final against Falcon (gold), Marlow (bronze) and Stourport (4th), missing out on the gold medal by just 2 seconds. The same crew then also won bronze in WMasB IM3 4x, beating Ross RC and Star Club, after finishing 1st in their heat. 3 crews finish well inside the top 50 at Women’s Head

Congratulations to all those who raced at the Women's Head on Saturday 3rd March, which took place in good conditions (following a bit of a downpour as the crews were boating to warm up!), albeit with the usual headwind and some rather choppy water in the final section from Hammersmith Bridge. There was some great racing, and some close results for the Senior Women's squad crews, who finished 24th, 33rd and 41st respectively, with just 4.5 seconds separating the second and third VIIIs.
