Ian Roots elected Captain for 2012/13

The MAABC Annual General Meeting was held on Saturday 27 October 2012. The meeting was well attended by members from across the various groups, all keen to have their say in how the club should be run over the forthcoming year. A new Committee was elected for 2012/13, with many of this year's committee members reprising their roles, or stepping into new roles. Masters crews win 4 events at Barnes and Mortlake regatta

The 2012 Barnes and Mortlake Regatta was held on a blustery, sunny Saturday, more like April than June. There was a fast running outgoing tide for the morning races and a sluggish incoming tide in the afternoon.  There was a good turn out of the usual helpers manning the car park, catering and bar facilities, registration and boating areas (for which many thanks!). We had 4 winning crews: WMas B/C 4x: our B crew (Jo Gapper, Christina Greenhalgh, Kat Rolfsman and Anna Ramsden) raced a semi-final, beating Ardingly, then met our C crew in the final whose 5 second advantage [...]

Barnes & Mortlake Regatta – final racing timetable and important parking restrictions

The provisional timetable of racing at Barnes & Mortlake regatta has been revised to take into account comments received from competitors. The final timetable of racing (Word format, 365kb) is now available. Please contact the Entries Secretary, Peter Hoile, with any queries (barnes.mortlake@maabc.com). Please also note that there is a hockey tournament taking place this weekend which means parking restrictions are in place on Hartington Road. Parking is also prohibited on Ibis Lane. Barnes & Mortlake Regatta – Provisional timetable of racing now available

The draw for Barnes & Mortlake Regatta took place on Monday 5th June, and the provisional timetable of racing (Word document 121kb) is now available to download. Every effort has been made to accommodate doubling up, where this has been brought to the attention of the Race Committee. Crew numbers will be allocated later.
