The annual Plum Puddings races took place on Sunday 16th December, with the usual charge down from the Pink Lodge to the Quintin flagpole. As ever, some excellent (and safe!) steering skills were on display, most notably from Ian who steered the lightweight women's VIII from 10th at the start to 4th at the finish. First across the line was the Quintin men's 1st VIII, followed by the Westminster novice women, and the Quintin super Vets in third. Nina will once again be organising the traditional post-Christmas club gathering and lunch this year for those who are in London over the Christmas break - as last year, rather than arranging this for Boxing Day, it will take place on 27th December. The plan is to go for an outing or a walk along the river, and then to meet back at the club for a lunch of hot soup, bread, and various cold cuts etc. Please let Nina know if you plan to attend, so she has an accurate idea of numbers for catering purposes - email@example.com
