We have a large fully-equipped gym on the ground floor of the boat house, which is available for members to use at any time of the day (or night, if that is when you wish to train!).
We have 9 Concept2 rowing machines with large mirrors (in front and to the side) to help you work on improving your technique.
We also have a large weights area, with both machines and a large range of free weights. If you are new to lifting weights then please seek instruction before using this area – one of the more experienced members or one of the coaches will be very happy to help.
Next to the ergo area we have a dedicated section of the gym for core stability/trunk strength work and stretching. The coaching team strongly emphasise the importance of core stability exercises, and will be happy to take you through one of their exercise programs. Finally, we also have 2 Wattbikes, if you fancy a bit of a change!
