The Quintin head 2015 was probably one of the coldest races many of the participants had ever experienced. May were on marshalling for over two hours, only warming up half way to Hammersmith.
MAABC was represented in five crews, three club and two composites with other tideway clubs.
The fastest crew on the day was the Men’s Masters D composite with Thames Tradesman.
The High Performance women represented the club in WIM1 and WIM2 while the Masters women competed in the WMB-E category.
All crews competed well in difficult conditions and look forward to the rest of the 8s season.
