The Regatta Committee is doing its best to accommodate as many requests as possible - please bear with us! The timetable will be published as soon as possible on the Barnes & Mortlake Regatta page - many thanks for your patience.
The Masters Women's squad travelled to Nottingham for the British National Masters on Sunday 19th May. Reaping the benefits of excellent training over recent months, Laura Campbell, Chrissie Greenhalgh, Anna Ramsden & Jo Gapper got off to a great start in their straight final of WMasC IM3 4x, beating Falcon, the previous year’s winners, by a length. Next up were Alice Poole & Louise Pattison in an WMasD/E IM3 2x straight final - their first attempt at both multilane racing and stake boat starts! A respectable 4th place out of 6 was achieved for these Novice racers. They then headed back out [...]

The Senior Women's squad had an excellent first major race of the summer season at Wallingford Regatta on Sunday 5th May. For once Dorney was bathed in sunshine, and the crews took full advantage of the excellent conditions to put down a marker for the rest of the season. They came away with 2 convincing wins, in WElite 2x (Fran Rawlins and Anna Townsend - so much for retirement, Anna!) and WIM3 4+ (Claire Ridley, Therese Coen, Gemma Peck, Emily Walters, Nicola Glogowski (cox)). The coxed four also raced in IM2, finishing a creditable 3rd in the final. Full results [...]
On Saturday 8th December 2012, 9 MAABC scullers took part in the annual Scullers Head, racing in singles from Chiswick to Putney. It was a brighter and slightly warmer day than the previous weekend, but racing in December on the Tideway is always a rather chilly affair! First home from MAABC was Lisa Kallal from the Senior Women's squad, in 23:53, missing out on the Women's Vet B pennant by just 2 seconds. Full MAABC results were as follows: Lisa Kallal W.MasB 23:53.17 2nd in category, 28th woman overall Gemma Peck W.IM2 24:01.56 5th in category, 37th woman overall Anna [...]
